METICULAB MPD Series is a latching-type miniature normally-closed pinch valve, specifically designed for laboratory fluid equipment and in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) instrument integration. The valve adopts a pulse-driven latching mechanism — no continuous power is required to maintain the open or closed state; power is consumed only at the moment of switching. This significantly reduces the overall power consumption of the host instrument and makes it ideal for built-in compact analytical devices.

The valve features a fully isolated flow path: the fluid medium flows only inside the tubing, while the valve body and metal magnetic circuit components never contact reagents or samples. There is no valve core structure, eliminating media crystallization and cross-contamination. The compact body supports panel-mount installation, occupying minimal internal space. An optional position feedback sensor is available to output real-time open/close status for system monitoring and logic control. The tubing is a consumable item — maintenance only requires tube replacement, with no need to disassemble or clean the valve body.

The MPD Series is compatible with various tubing specifications.
