TAOMSUN sapphire convex / hemisphere lenses are precision-machined from optical grade sapphire single crystal (α-Al₂O₃). With a Mohs hardness of 9 and a transmission range covering 0.17-5.5μm (UV to mid-infrared), sapphire offers extremely high surface hardness, chemical corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and excellent thermal conductivity – the ideal choice for optical systems in demanding environments. Available in plano-convex, plano-concave, biconvex, meniscus and hemispherical forms; size, focal length and coating can be customized per drawing.
